Mission, vision, and values

Mission of Polish Scholarship Scheme:

• We give the most promising young people in Poland access to excellent international education independently of their socioeconomic background
• We offer support, mentoring, and guidance to our scholars while they are at our partner schools as well as during their early stages of academic and professional careers, fostering best possible conditions for their intellectual and emotional development, so that we empower and inspire them to drive positive impact on Poland and the whole world.

Vision of Polish Scholarship Scheme:

• We want a world, where talented individuals develop their abilities to the fullest, and use these abilities to the benefit of others.

• Our vision is to provide high potential Polish youth with an access to the best international education so they can experience an unparalleled development journey that is intellectually, socially, and personally transformative.

  - Beginning even before the start of our selection process, we want to level the playing field by creating stimulating opportunities for those of our candidates that had limited access to good education and/or such programmes  - Later on - before and during the scholarship, our scholars are to be prepared to embark on a journey of intellectual transformation through an exposure to new people, ideas, ways of understanding and knowing - Finally, by taking active part in the diverse network of scholars and alumni, they will develop further while providing the same opportunities for generations of scholars to come

• In order to ensure continuity of such opportunities, we want to actively create space for our members to become engaged and pay forward; and eventually, for next generations to take leadership and mentorship roles.
• We hope that our members will begin to shape their lives by gaining a sense of how to hone their skills and use their potential, assessing their values and interests, and learning how they can best serve the world - in Poland or elsewhere.
